The Home Sweet Home Care team strongly believes in the mission of providing exceptional care to those in need. We hire and train only the best caregivers and provide uncompromising customer service. The ability to help seniors who are intrinsically susceptible and being able to provide stable and satisfying employment to local community citizens, is an opportunity that we whole-heartedly embrace.  Home Sweet Home Care provides caregiving services throughout Okaloosa, Walton and Santa Rosa counties for anyone of any age and any need.

Founder and Director

Michele founded Home Sweet Home Care in 2015 after caring for her parents through cancer and stroke from 2009 to 2015.  She has been a member of our community in Northwest Florida her entire life and is graduate of the University of West Florida where she earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology and minors in Biology and Genetics.  She also earned her graduate degree as a Master of Public Health from UWF, specializing in Infectious Disease Epidemiology, and graduate certificates in Infection Control and Prevention and Emergency Management.  She is also a Certified Nursing Assistant. 

 

She has over a decade of public health experience which, along with her collegiate career, provides great knowledge and expertise in the home care industry, acute and chronic disease, and safety.  In addition, Michele holds certifications in Alzheimer's Disease, Parkinson's Disease, DAWN Method for Dementia, and is a member of National Alliance for Care at Home, Agency for Health Care Administration, and Florida Public Health Association.

Michele’s compassion for the elderly and caring for others was fostered by the care of her parents after cancer diagnosis and massive stroke.  “It really made me appreciate and understand what’s important to them, staying in the home they loved and worked so hard for, and having loving and compassionate care in their own home. It’s a privilege to help other age and convalesce in an environment where they feel secure and loved.”

 

Michele raised her family here and say's "I love this area; it is my home. I’m truly passionate about our mission, goals, and the services we provide.  We are privileged to serve any one of any age and any need in their own home, or help with care at assisted living, skilled nursing or long-term care facilities.  We are truly blessed to live in such a beautiful area and to be part of such a wonderful community.  At Home Sweet Home Care, everyone is family, and it is our privilege to serve you.  We look forward to meeting you!"
